Dear players,
Today Retronia received a new feature designed to improve visibility and looting flow during hunts.
Starting with the Server Save on November 29, Retronia will introduce Corpse Highlights — a visual effect that marks freshly killed creatures, helping players easily identify which corpses still need to be looted.
This effect also highlights corpses containing items with rarity.
How it works
Only players who had the creature in their field of view at the moment of death will see the highlight effect.
If the player moves too far away from the corpse, the highlight will no longer be visible.
The highlight disappears once someone opens the corpse, or when the corpse advances to its next decay stage.
If the corpse contains multiple rarity items, the highlight will display the highest rarity present.
You can enable or disable this feature in the client menu under Interface Options.
Client Auto-Updater Fix
We would also like to inform you that, starting now, the client’s auto-updater works correctly for the executable files.
Players will no longer need to re-download the entire client from the website after each update.
